Our Mission is producing a COBOL compiler based on the COBOL 85 standards.

Development of TinyCOBOL, by the current maintainer, has come to an end. Consequently version 0.66 will be the final release.

Anyone who would like to further develop TinyCOBOL, and become the project maintainer, please post a request to the official mailing list. All applicants will be considered. Fluency in English would be beneficial, but it is not a prerequisite.

The web pages were updated by Hudson Reis. Bernard Giroud, Jim Morcombe, Juan J. Martinez and Scott Ball gave important contributions about the grammar of the web pages. The web pages has several modifications in the source code to pass by the XHTML and CSS validators. Now, our web pages are conformed with the W3C standards!

The web pages were updated by Hudson Reis and David Essex. Broken links were removed. Some HTML was cleaned up. The information on the pages was brought up to date. The FAQ was removed. Hudson Reis started a mirror of the English web pages in the Brazil portuguese language.
